While Apple hasn’t exactly been delivering the best product line – especially after Samsung delivered the Galaxy S5 and smart watch – they’ve announced the dates for their annual developer’s conference, which has the potential to finally them around. While they’ll undoubtedly announce updates for their desktops and laptop software, there are rumors regarding they may officially announce plans to develop the long awaited, iWatch.
What Is The Worldwide Developers Conference?
Taking place from June 2nd through the 6th – WWDC has been going on for the past six years, during the time Apple refers to as, “a massive cultural shift.” Ever since the development of “smart,” technology, the way we interact, learn, and entertain has dramatically shifted – all thanks to developers and their creations.
According to Apple, they describe the event as the following,
“For five days, one thousand Apple engineers and five thousand developers will gather together, and life will be different as a result. Write code. Change the world.”
How are those 5,000 developers chosen? By random ticket selection, of course – if you want to enter for a chance to win a ticket, you can register till April 7th at 10:00AM on Apple’s website. So, what else is rumored to happen at this latest Apple convention?
Worldwide Developers Conference Rumors
• For iPad and iPhone users, they could expect Apple to announce the new iOS 8. We all remember the complaints that filled the internet after iOS 7 came out and hackers immediately began figuring out how to revert back to the old iOS.
• Possible iWatch debut – keep in mind, this is after Samsung already released their smart watch.
• New MacBook’s, iMac’s, and MacBook Air’s may be released with faster processors.
• MacBook Air may also finally get the retina display that it’s counterparts have.
Thus far, those are the only rumors that have been leaked however, keep in mind that Apple is very good at keeping secrets. Also, don’t forget that Window’s new CEO has mentioned that they will develop a Microsoft Office platform suitable for the iPad – since that’s the only interface it can’t function on.
We’ll keep you posted on the news from the conference, here at iPhone Repair 4 Less.
