Don’t be a Chump. Fix Your Phone

Replacing Your iPhone Out Regularly is More Often A Planned Reality.

Cell phone technology moves as swiftly as a thief in the night. And a thief in the night has but one goal: to take your hard earned money. Every time a new iPhone model is released our brains are so overloaded with images of shiny chrome and gold that we seem to overlook the fact that these devices are only modestly improved, and what’s more troubling is that our current devices begin to show signs of expiration just around the time of a new release. What a convenient timeline of planned obsolescence Apple has laid before us.

Apple Never Intended on Your Phone Living More Than a Few Years, Max.

Apple doesn’t want you to fix your broken iPhone. Have you ever received any repair instructions with your new phone packaging or seen advice on how to repair certain parts of your phone on their website? They charge outlandish prices to replace a battery, and hey! at that point why not just buy a new phone? (Thought the chump).

It is normal and acceptable for new features of new technology to not work with old hardware. If a new phone comes with an advanced new feature, we shouldn’t expect that feature to work on the older model of the phone. But when did consumers become so accepting of the planned obsolescence cycle? Our phone’s keyboards should always work no matter how old the model is. Our camera app should not take forever to load despite old hardware. That’s what these devices were designed to do and it’s not that much to ask that they last longer than a year. So if you want to save money, don’t think you’re doing yourself any favors by purchasing a brand new phone, because it won’t last long. The better option is to repair it. We can have your iPhone up and running at prices that won’t break the bank. Your Lafayette iPhone repair shop won’t let you down. Check out our services and contact us at (337) 255-2898.
