It’s official – according to the latest Market Pulse report that was released, Apple’s iPhone 5S still holds the top spot for the number one in smartphone sales – worldwide. While Apple struggled with the sales of their iPhone 5C, the 5S has been in such high demand that they’re expecting the numbers to continue to rise.
The biggest help to Apple’s sales was their market in China, which accumulated about 12 percent of their overall iPhone 5S sales in October, alone.
According to the rest of the chart by Counterpoint Research,
2.) iPhone 5
3.) Samsung Galaxy S4
4.) iPhone 5C
5.) Samsung Galaxy Note III
There were two feature phones that made the list, but they were both Nokia and landed in the number eight and 10 spot. The report also means that China has become the world third largest smartphone vendor out of the 33 countries Counterpoint conducts their research.
