It took 15 camera crews spread along 10 countries and one single day to create Apple’s 30th anniversary video. Shot only with iPhone video, Apple put in their best effort to create a commercial that really expresses how they will continue to help you create and capture moments with their well developed technology.
From Mac to iPhone
During the 1984 Super Bowl, Apple aired their first advertisement on the National platform. It was simple, so much so that it didn’t even show the Macintosh computer, but it still let you know that Apple was there. Soon enough, Apple would be the only company to give IBM – the powerhouse at the time – a run for their money.
Apple recently released a making of video that went through the 24 hour period in which they filmed. From Pompeii to Los Angeles, the most beautiful and populated areas in the world were shot in real time.

By connecting the iPhone’s to a receiver, the video was sent in real time to a central hub where the video was then being directed and edited. The Director really captured the global component that Apple has obtained over the years, by simply showing the unique lands in which iPhone’s are used.
In an effort to keep their name at the top for technological innovation, Apple could potentially be going back to their roots – giving themselves an ideal product that can be the face of Apple, a product that shows Apple is different and more efficient than the rest.
