Apple’s iOS 7 Makes iPhone Life More Convenient

As more developers have had their hands on Apple’s latest version of iOS 7, they have raised concerns with the disappearance of the commonly used Spotlight search. However, after just five more minutes of use, it can be discovered that Apple tech’s found a new and more convenient spot for the convenient search bar.

If you are not aware of the Spotlight search bar, it allows the user to type in anything that is programmed into the iPhone. Due to iPhone’s being able to function in so many different ways, they often get very cluttered and before you know it, you have 100 applications in your menu. So, the whole idea of the Spotlight search is that you can search for any of those applications that have been buried in all your iPhone files.

In the iOS 6, the Spotlight search bar has its own panel which could only be accessed by a left swipe or swiping until you reached its page. The latest version has hidden the search bar and by pulling down at the top of your screen, the Spotlight search will appear on any page of your choosing, making it more convenient for the user. According to Apple Insider, the only problem might be people with smaller hands because they could trigger the notification center which is accessed the same way as the Spotlight search bar.
