A workflow can be created using three parts:

**Trigger:**

The trigger contains a name, an event type, and an optional URL.

**Job:

We can assign an action to each trigger.

**Task:**

A task can include a name, a description, a workflow, and a task condition.

**Task Condition:**

This is a condition that tells the system what the task condition is. This includes the following values:

– **isTrue:**

This tells the system that the task should only execute if the condition is true.

– **isFalse:**

This tells the system that the task should only execute if the condition is false.

– **isEqualTo:

 

The technology used in PDMS (Pulsar) was developed by a group of engineers in Europe. The developers claim that their technology is faster and easier to use than Java. The Pulsar technology is based upon event-driven architecture. This means that a Pulsar application processes events as they occur. The technology does not wait for a user to request information before it responds to him. The technology is dynamic. It can observe and respond to changes in the system and to external factors such as time.

 

As with most new technologies, PDMS is evolving quickly. In this case, the development community is actively working on improving the usability of PDMS.
