Apple has been receiving mixed reviews over their Apple watch that has less than 24 hours of battery life, but consumers of the popular tech brand are also sharing their mixed feelings about the new MacBooks. The new MacBook which is the company’s thinnest computer yet was announced at the Apple Watch event and the promo for it looked more like a 50 Shades of Grey trailer than it did a computer advertisement.

Want to know a fun fact about this laptop? The design of it was so thin that Apple had to redesign the entire thing to ensure it had all the capabilities it was intended to have.

Improvements to the New MacBook Air

  • New logic keyboard that provides more accurate typing.
  • Reengineered track pad.
  • 12 inch retina display that runs at a 2,304 x 1,440 resolution.
  • Dual core Intel core M.
  • Multiple color options (space gray, gold, or silver).
  • 35 percent more battery life.

Now, it’s no surprise that Apple has done their best to do away with traditional USB ports, and the new MacBook only have one reversible USB type C port. This single port is responsible for charging, video output, and data transport. To us, this makes it seem like Apple is taking a big step back from those MagSafe adaptors that they moved to several years ago.

If you want to buy the new MacBook that’s set to be released in April of this year, we suggest you start saving because it’s going rate is $1,299.00.

Looking at the Apple Watch

The Macbook wasn’t the only thing talked about at this Apple event as the whole event was supposed to surround the long awaited Apple Watch. First, let us just say we think it’s weird that Apple didn’t name the watch the iWatch to go along with their theme, but whatever – to each their own.

The internet erupted over the Apple Watch, instantly mocking the company’s new innovative multi-purpose time teller. However, we don’t blame them. Apple took how long to create this product after the release of the Samsung smartwatch? Way too long. With that being said, we have to show you internet peeps some of the best reactions we found in regard to this new Apple Watch.

When the design is identical to just taking an iPod Nano and a hex watch band, it’s safe to say their design team really didn’t go the extra mile here. So, if you want to get the new Apple Watch, go for it – have fun spending your money on it and have fun getting the upgrade every year from now on just like their other products. Personally, we would rather go with Samsung’s watch if you really want to indulge in the smartwatch market.
