Apple States iPhone 5C Was NOT Meant To Be Budget Phone

After dropping the price of their stock by about 1.8 percent, Apple is now forced to defend themselves and not be destroyed b the expectations of their customers. According to CEO, Tim Cook, the iPhone 5C will most likely never be Apple’s budget phone, meaning that they will never reach the “budget conscious markets,” – at least not with this phone.

Rather than designing a new iPhone that will be more affordable to those who wish to buy without a contract, Cook stated that their budget iPhone’s will be their older versions (i.e. the 4 and soon to be the 4S). However, when people want an iPhone, they don’t want the old model whose reputation was destroyed by a newer model – creating a new phone that resembles the newest version is the best way to dive into the cheaper markets, but Apple just won’t do that.

Apple’s overseas markets – the most budget conscious – such as China and Russia still find that the cost of the iPhone 5C is too much, therefore turning away millions of sales.

The expectations for Apple seem to be growing due to the fact that they seem to be losing their innovation and are ultimately being dominated by what Samsung and other companies are delivering.
