For this post, we’re going to focus on the newer versions of the iPhone, although we do fix iPhone 4’s in our shop, as well as Samsung smartphone’s. Alright so, let’s start breaking this down so you can get your phone back to normal, and working.

Fixing a Frozen Screen

No one likes a frozen phone so, in the event that your screen freezes, there are a few things you could try to do to un-freeze it,

– Power it off and power it back on (always try this first if your phone isn’t working in anyway).

– Reset the phone by holding down the home key with the sleep/awake button.

– Connect the iPhone to your computer and restore it in iTunes (make sure you back up all your data before doing this one).

Phone Won’t Turn Off

While this isn’t a very common problem, there are still some people that have to deal with it so, if this does end up happening to you, all you need to do is,

– Hold both the sleep/awake button and the power button until the Apple logo appears.

If that doesn’t work, then you may just have to let your phone’s battery run out.

Can’t Connect to WiFi

When people can’t connect to the internet, they’re not happy campers. So, if you’re having trouble connecting your phone to WiFi, try out some of these tips,

– Power your phone off and then back on.

– Restore the settings by holding down the sleep/awake key, with the home button.

– If you’re having trouble connecting to a specific network, don’t force it.

Can’t Find Siri

Siri is probably one of the most helpful tools that Apple put within the iPhone, but sometimes she may go away on a little holiday and you can’t find her. So, if you’re calling for Siri and she’s not answering, here are a few tips on how to find her,

– Try cleaning out the microphone on the bottom of your smartphone.

– Make sure Siri is on by going to [Settings] – [General] – [Siri]. If she’s already on, turn her off and wait 30 seconds before turning it back on.

– If those don’t work, then you’ll want to reset all your settings so, go to [Settings] – [General] – [Reset] – then, [Reset All Settings].
