There are a lot of rumors when it comes to whether or not Apple will be releasing an iPhone 5s or an iPhone six. As the Apple’s past habits have shown us, there has been an “s” prior to a next gen number so it’s safe to say that in the next few months the iPhone 5s will be released. That being said, Apple will most likely save a complete de-design for the iPhone 6 and therefore we can probably expect the same make design as the iPhone 5 has. According to the slew of rumors surrounding the release date of the iPhone 5s, it could literally be released from now until September, any day and any month, It’s important to realize that there is literally no way of telling when Apple plans on releasing the phone, but we are fairly certain that it will be within the next few months. What we do know is this: there is proof that the Japanese company KDDI will be taking pre-orders for the new iPhone as of June 20th. This information came to light after one of their company memos was leaked. Whether or not they have knowledge directly from Apple or they are just speculating is yet to be determined.
So, the iPhone 5s is Coming, What Should we Expect?
The iPhone 5s will definitely tote a higher resolution camera as well as a higher resolution screen. The original iPhone was revered for its camera and display capabilities but now there are a lot more competitive devices on the market so it’s a definite that Apple will try to set the standard even higher. There are also rumors that the iPhone 5s will come in three different sizes, but this is just speculation and we would be surprised if something like this actually happened. There are also talks about the iPhone 52 having 128GB storage capabilities. This would be a nice feature that attracts a larger market if it ended up being the case. Apple will most likely integrate NFC-near field communication which is something that Android has already adapted. Apple is also looking to integrating a fingerprint swiping system. These types of changes will allow Apple to integrate with Google Wallet which will be a huge step for both companies and for consumers.
One of the most exciting design rumors is that there will be 8 different color options for the iPhone 5s. this would open up interest to parties who aren’t interested in the typical black or white phones. An even more interesting rumor is that instead of having 8 different colors options, Apple will keep the traditional black and white options and add one single color option. In our opinion this would be more authentic to their brand, but only time will tell what ends up happening.
